Bingo Sales expected to Increase

Over the next couple of years the latest research shows that bingo sales are expected to increase by 20%. Revenue for online bingo is supposed to reach $1.3 billion by the end of 2009 and will increase again in 2010 to $1.6 billion. This data has been gathered by H2 Gambling Capital, a research company based in Manchester, UK.

Online Bingo has proven to be more popular, even in this time of recession. And they say it is the worst recession since World War II, so well done online bingo. The popularity is due to online bingo still is relatively new to the gambling market, so it has not been hit badly in the times of tighter wallets.

Ladbrokes, who own more than 2300 outlets in the UK and Ireland have reported an increase of 30% in online bingo revenue compared to the 7% decrease in UK store sales. 888 believe that online bingo should be nearing the same size of popularity as online poker within the next five years. They say the biggest growth is likely to be in Italy and Spain, with a predicted 50 to 100% increase. The world is loving online bingo.
